Prices, fees and the rate behind LitBuy routes
Where the money goes on a LitBuy order, what the estimator showed for the four LIT- countries on one afternoon, and one number about the exchange rate that is easy to miss.
What a LitBuy order costs
LitBuy's Service & Fees article (help 43) lists the cost of an order in three parts: the item cost, meaning product price plus the seller's domestic shipping to the LitBuy warehouse; the international shipping fee, set by weight, route and destination; and customs charges, where the declaration cost for a parcel is generally RMB 10.00, depending on the route.
It also says LitBuy promises free shopping agent services: no charge for the buying itself. That is the service fee most agents print as a percentage of the item price, and on LitBuy it is zero. Value-added services are optional and paid separately.

The smaller charges LitBuy does list
"No service fee" covers the purchasing service only. LitBuy's own pages list several small charges around it: 20 CNY for a rehearsal parcel, 1 yuan each for custom photos (per LitBuy's help page), a 5 RMB service fee plus both shipping legs when you return an item for your own reasons, a per-parcel handling fee shown inside each estimator entry, and a daily storage fee once an item passes its 90 free days.
None of these is hidden, but they live on different pages. Reading them together is the honest way to compare LitBuy with an agent that does charge a service fee.

Prices LitBuy showed in the four LIT- countries
These are the US dollar amounts the estimator returned for 1 kg with no product type on 16 October 2026, for every route in Germany, France, Poland and the Netherlands. They are the prices after the estimator's own promotion, the figure it presents as the shipping cost. Entries are A to Z inside each country, and the LIT- entries are highlighted so you can find them, not because they are better.
Prices move with promotions and with LitBuy's tariff updates. Treat the table as a dated reading and check the estimator before you pay.

For one example in words: the estimator showed LIT-Economy-DHL-DE at $20.17 and LIT-Quickly-DHL-DE at $20.37 on 16 October 2026, beside six other German routes between $20.96 and $35.95 and the EMS route at $29.89.
The exchange rate behind the dollar prices
Every yuan amount in LitBuy's public data that we converted, in the coupon list and in estimator entries, turns into dollars at the same ratio: 5.770 yuan to the dollar. The mid-market rate on 16 October 2026 was 6.703. So a dollar price shown by LitBuy is about 16.2% higher than the same yuan amount converted at the mid-market rate. Our own check, 16 October 2026.
This is not a fee LitBuy lists, and it is not unusual for an agent to convert at a rate above mid-market. It is worth knowing when you compare a dollar price with a yuan price elsewhere. Independent measurements published in early October showed the same gap, at 16.1%.

Estimated weight first, real weight later
The shipping price you pay at submission rests on an estimate. Help 33 says the system estimates the parcel weight from the inbound weights of your items; after packing, the warehouse weighs and measures the real parcel, and that becomes the billing basis unless the carrier adjusts it.
If the real billing weight is higher, LitBuy asks you to pay the difference. If you overpaid by more than one billing step, the overpayment goes back to your LitBuy Wallet within 72 hours after the parcel ships. A rehearsal parcel, at 20 CNY, settles the number before you commit.

When a quote is useful, and when to run it again
A quote is useful when its inputs resemble the parcel you plan to send. A single bare-item weight cannot price several products in protective packaging. Check the route’s billing rule and the outer dimensions as well as the scale weight. If you add a shoe box or change packing after a rehearsal, update the comparison.
The first product payment does not include a universal amount for delivery home. Reserve funds for the later shipping stage, selected services, payment conversion and applicable destination costs. Compare like-for-like totals across available routes and read the settlement process for any deposit. A promotional line name or a public country list does not remove those costs or guarantee an earlier arrival.
Paying for an order
LitBuy's footer shows Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna and Afterpay, and on 16 October also a BLIK badge. Help 42 says PayPal top-ups go through in US dollars regardless of the account's own currency. Balance payments carry no fee.
Percentage fees for card or PayPal payments are not published on any page we read; you see them at checkout. International bank transfers carry bank charges paid by the sender, which LitBuy states as 0.1% plus $2.5 from Hong Kong accounts and 0.1% plus $7 from elsewhere.
